Students of The Millennium School, Kurukshetra brought laurels to the school and Kurukshetra District by bagging the first prize in Zonal level competitions organized at JMIETI, Radaur (Yamunanagar) held on 30th October 2018 (Tuesday).    The competitions were organized under the tutelage of  Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Northern India Section – ‘A World In Motion’ (AWIM) and  was sponsored by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.  More than 26 teams from Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Ambala and Karnal participated in Jet Toy and Skimmer category. Another team of class V students  also participated in Skimmer Boat Competition and got an award for “Maximum Distance Travelled”. A Poster making competition for teachers was also organized in which the Mentor  teachers of  The Millennium School, Kurukshetra, Mrs. Ritika and Mrs. Sween also won the first prize. The  students who will be going for the National level competitions at Chitkara University, Chandigarh are Nikhil Raj,  Bhavil, Shivam, Chanidhy. Principal Dr. A. K. Singh congratulated the winner students and their mentors on this spectacular achievement and wished them all the best for the national level competitions.
