Carom is one of the most popular indoor games in India. Once treated a pastime game limited to children and ladies, it is now played at competitive levels in an organized manner. It is a scientific game and is based on Physics and Geometry. It requires thorough knowledge of angles, deftness of touch, keen sight and superlative control of nerves besides mental and physical fitness. An Inter-house Carom competition was held at The Millennium School, Kurukshetra on 20th December, 2018. It was for classes II and III. The excitement and enthusiasm for the competition was infectious. All the participants played very well. Excellent sportsmanship and team spirit were the highlights of the event.
