The Millennium School, Kurukshetra organized ‘Cycletron for All’ on 25 December to create awareness among the masses to switch to the habit of cycling as the best physical activity. By adopting the sedentary life style, people have become addicted to the cars, mopeds, bikes etc. to cover even the shortest distance. It has adverse repercussions which surely affect not only health but also the environment. Students, their parents, relatives and teachers rode the bicycle under the supervision of the traffic police to epitomize the health –friendly practice i.e. cycling which is quite eco-friendly. All appreciated the school for this unique initiative for the noble social cause. Principal Dr. A.K. Singh thanked the participants for their active participation and the traffic police for their assistance. He also emphasized on the need of the physical activities to lead a disease free healthy life.
