Annual Sports Day of The Millennium School, Kurukshetra was held on 2nd December  in the school playground with great zest and enthusiasm. The conspicuous event began with the March Past  Salute of the four Houses and hoisting the School Flag by the Chief Guest Dr. D. S. Kala , the Director , Physical and Sports Department, Kurukshetra University. The synchronized to and fro leg and arm movement of the marchers gave the great show the feeling of ‘lo and behold’. The majestic pom-pom dance, dumbbell drill, yoga, taekwondo and skating activities proved to be the show stealers.   Besides this, various athletic events viz. march past, ready to school race, frog race, bag race, zigzag race, sack race, wheel barrow race, lemon-spoon race, relays, sprints, tug of war etc. were held for the classes Pre-nursery to XII. The Chief Guests and other dignitaries felicitated the winners of the day as well as the district, state and national level sport laureates with medals and trophies. Jal House was adjudged as the best Marching House. The trophy for the Tug of War- boys and girls was bagged by Pritvi and Vaayu house respectively, and the Best Athletic Championship trophy was won by Agni house House. The exhibited sportsmanship of the exuberant players was acknowledged and applauded by the enthused spectator parents and the dignitaries. The Chief Guest stated that sports prove to be the best teachers in the playground as they inculcate the best leadership qualities in the students and enable them to compete with the challenges of life. Principal Dr. A. K. Singh thanked all the guests for their benign presence.
