The 26th celebration of World Press Freedom Day was done  in The Millennium School, Kurukshetra in different clubs like literary club, GK and reasoning club and computer club.The facilitators told the learners about the theme of 2019 “Media for Democracy: Journalism and Elections in Times of Disinformation.” The facilitators discussed the current challenges faced by media in elections, along with the media’s potential in supporting peace and reconciliation processes with the learners.The facilitators also explained the learners that this day is to  remember those journalists who lost their lives in the exercise of their profession. The session was summed up by providing the badges to the learners.
