Dear Parents,
The school proposes to organize an educational cum recreational visit to Jodhpur - Jaisalmer in the month of October 2015. If you are interested to send your ward for the aforesaid educational excursion, kindly fill in the consent form given below and pay the required tour fee. We have organized this with Edterra Edventures.
JOURNEY ITINERARY* (5 Night/6 Days)
Day One – Indore- Jodhpur
Departure for Jodhpur by Ranthambore Express (Train no. 12465), at 06:00 hrs**
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner on the train (to be arranged by Schools)
Night arrival in Jodhpur
Transfer to the Hotel by AC Deluxe Coach

Day Two - Jodhpur

Sightseeing - Visit to Umaid Bhawan Palace and Museum: Picturesquely located on the top of a hill, the palace has now been converted into a hotel. A part of this grand palace has been converted into a museum that houses the belongings of the royal family.

Day Three – Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
Early breakfast in the hotel, check out and depart for Jaisalmer (290kms)
Afternoon arrival in Jaisalmer followed by check-in to Desert Camp followed by late lunch
Late afternoon Jeep Safari & Camel Safari on Sand Dunes: Embark on an exciting Camel Safari to the sand dunes of Sam. Enjoy a view of the sunset in the middle of the beautiful Thar Desert.

Day Four - Jaisalmer
Breakfast in the hotel
Sightseeing – Sonar Kila or Jaisalmer Fort: The second oldest fort in Rajasthan that is also a living fort (people live in the fort till this day). Standing at a height of two hundred and fifty feet tall, this imposing structure houses more than one fourth of the city’s population. Students engage in an activity on photography at the fort.
Lunch in the hotel, free time for packing
Visit to the Gadi Sagar Lake: the Gadi Sagar Lake is the largest lake in the city, and the only source of the city’s water supply. The banks of this huge lake abound with temples, shrines and chhatris.
Evening transfer to Jodhpur Railway Station to catch the train to Indore

Day Five – Jodhpur - Indore
Early morning arrival in Jodhpur at 5:00am
Morning departure from Jodhpur by Intercity Express (Train no. 12466) at 06:10 a.m.**

Other Educational Highlights:
Create a Magazine
Throughout their journey students will work in teams to write and photograph a full-colour professional-quality magazine named Impressions. Each team will tell the story of their learning in a meaningful way along with photographs that will complement the chapters. Each student will receive a print-out of Impressions, which they can then share with their fellow students, parents, and their school. There is also space in the magazine for an introductory note from the principal.
Educational excursion cost: 15000/- (Rupees Fifteen thousand only/-)
Service Include: All meals, travel, accommodation and sightseeing mentioned in itinerary, entrance fees where required.
