What is the Philosophy that guides The Millennium School?

The vision of The Millennium School “is committed to nurture the inherent potential and talent of each child, creating lifelong learners who will be the leaders of tomorrow. With parents as our partners, we aspire to create global citizens who are innovative and have a strong sense of values.”

The Academic Year is based on the CBSE guidelines and is w.e.f. from April to March. The school year consists of two semesters: Semester I : April to September Semester 2 : October to March (to check from school).

The proposed teacher student ratio is 1:12 in the primary, and 1:20 in other classes.

We are a CBSE school and follow the Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) pattern for the overall assessment of the child.

We follow CCE /FAs / SAs/Project Work as a part of ongoing assessment of very child. A sound evaluation and assessment system has been designed to form an integral part of day-to-day learning and can be implemented during the normal course of teaching learning process to maximise students’ learning. Learning milestones are a healthy blend of both formative and summative components of assessment. In order to cater to individual learning potential, three levels of worksheets – Acceptance, Balance and Challenge are planned. The assessment manual provided is appreciative and motivating rather than critical. It also includes detailed and timely feedback with remedial measures. The Millennium Schools have personalised Performance Enhancement Plans (PEP) which are remedial measures for the learners. They ensure that learning gaps, if any, are bridged before the child is taken to the next level of the concept. To help bridge the gap, a set of remedial books called ‘PEP Tool’ has been designed by Education Quality Foundation of India’s  Research and Development Team.

iv. It caters to the needs of all types of learners, allowing them to learn at their own pace.

vi. Our specialized teaching strategies and collaborative work in classrooms ensure that our children are able to think for themselves and apply their learning to real life situations.

We ensure that sports and co-curricular activities are introduced based on the age-group of the children.

Parents are our partners and we appreciate suggestions inputs and their cooperation in ensuring the success of various school activities /events. They have an important role to play for the success of any system. We would like them to collaborate with us by volunteering to help impart certain skills to our learners. We have a guest speaker program where we would like parents to share their inputs on their areas of expertise. Further, they can help by enthusiastically encouraging the quest for knowledge when their children seek information, material or guidance for their projects.
